CPC-100, Colby’s lead drug will be entering the clinic for men who have already been treated with surgery or radiation for their primary prostate tumor and have subsequently failed Androgen Depletion Therapy (ADT, a current standard of care), as indicated by their rising serum PSA levels. These men are often asymptomatic and are without radiographic evidence of tumor metastatsis to bone or soft tissue. CPC-100 is an anti-Androgenic anti-Inflammatory multi-targeted signal transduction inhibitor drug, different from all the Androgen Receptor-binding anti-Androgenic drugs currently in the market, which are only effective for the treatment of Androgen-dependent prostate tumors. In contrast, CPC-100 is therapeutic for the treatment of both Androgen-dependent as well as Androgen-independent therapy-resistant prostate cancers.
